Homemade Bread {recipe}

Here I go again. Not finding the time to sit and write. It’s been a bit crazy here in the Clark house. Trying hard to keep up with home schooling, house work, and my energetic three year old during the day while staying up all night with a growing three month old. While I may feel a little tired today, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I am just trying to enjoy every moment with these little ones.

Now just when we thought the weather was starting to warm and give us spring fever, winter announced she is still here and welcomed up this morning with a light dusting of snow. Thankfully it was not very much so once the weather warms up again, it will be melted in no time.

Luckily for my family, cold weather always makes me want to bake and thanks to my wonderful bread machine (we’re best friends) I can keep fresh, homemade bread in the house with little work. With some trial and error, we have come up with our family’s favorite bread recipe that we think you just might enjoy as well.

Bread Machine Bread

1 cup milk
1/4 cup water
4 teaspoons olive oil
3 cups bread flour
4 teaspoons honey
¾ teaspoons salt
1 teaspoons yeast

Put all ingredients into your bread machine and set to bake. In just a couple of hours your house will smell amazing and you’ll have a delicious treat.

Sometimes I will replace 1 cup of bread flour with 1 cup of whole wheat flour. I try to be healthy sometimes.

I would love to hear from you! What are some of your favorite breads to make at home? I would love to try some new recipes at home and always looking for more ideas.
